Warley Park is a popular club just minutes from the M25. Within easy reach of three main road routes it surprises visitors with its quiet rural setting. It is home to a 27-hole golf course overlooking delightful lakes and some of the finest scenery in Essex.
Recently purchased by the owners of the very successful Channels Golf Club and Regiment Way Golf Centre near Chelmsford, Warley Park is poised for new investment and to build on the already high standard of the courses.
The 27 golf holes are set out as three distinct loops of nine, serenely meandering through rolling countryside. But don’t be fooled by the gentle appearance. All three can prove a challenge for all levels of golfer.
And the three loops mean that there is plenty of variety for members and visitors. With some of the best views in the county, the courses have more elevation changes and water hazards than you would normally find in Essex. They are all-year round courses with good drainage that helps create ultra-fast greens in the Summer.
The new owners and the staff at the club are moving steadfastly forward as they aim to have Warley Park recognised as one of the finest golf courses in Essex and the wider region.
It is the quality of the courses and the all-round facilities that attracted the new owners. And their professionalism, efficiency and drive are already paying off. With their knowledge of turning Channels and Regiment Way into successful venues, Warley Park already shows that genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming way that makes you want to come back and enjoy the golfing experience.
Membership stands at a healthy 700, and numbers are increasing as prospective members share the potential recognised by the new owners.
Off the course, Warley Park is blessed with proud, efficient staff who treat members and guests with great courtesy and readily offer help with any enquiries on the facilities available.
Kevin Smith, the club’s Director of Golf, says: “We pride ourselves on offering a high quality experience both on and off the course.
“Warley Park Golf Club is in a great location and has the potential to rival the best Essex venues.”
Warley Park is a club for golfers who want to feel good about their game and want their guests and colleagues to enjoy themselves. With new ownership it is only a matter of time before it’s reputation spreads.

Regiment Way Golf Centre
The golf centre at Regiment Way in Chelmsford is a guide to the all round package you can expect from the new owners of Warley Park Golf Club, with everything you need to improve your game, at whatever level you play.
Regiment Way Golf Centre was established in 1994 as a Pay and Play course for players of all standards and to encourage friends & families to enjoy golf together.
It is relaxed and friendly, whilst standards of etiquette, course care and conduct are maintained. With fully automatic tee and green irrigation and excellent natural drainage the course is always presented in excellent condition and rarely closed, whatever the weather may throw at it.
Like Warley, Park, the real treat at Regiment Way is the excellent practice area, able to contain even the biggest hitters. Experienced players can use the 22-bay floodlit range and the excellent short game area to fine tune scoring shots. Whilst beginners have everything needed to take those first steps from the range to the course.Alongside, there is a floodlit enclosed putting green as well as a chipping and bunker area, which on their own make the modest membership fees a real bargain.
The Waltham Bistro
Within the Regiment Way complex is the Waltham Bistro, which serves a contemporary evening menu for around £15-20 per head on Tuesday to Saturday, with live music on some Friday nights: A perfect place for the whole family to relax.
